As the last checks are written out to the competition
winners, the planning for the next year beings.
You've probably seen volunteers running around and taking
quick head counts during workshops, and you've witnessed the
registration process - both of these help with planning.
We strive to offer an event which is educational (workshops
+ time for private lessons), motivational (competitions +
exhibitions), and social (social dancing between
competitions, during the evening until 6am). While most
people won't be up dancing at 6am in the morning, there are
some that sleep in and look forward to late-night dancing.
So we try to make both worlds happy.
We appreciate your feedback in the event surveys and use the
constructive criticism to shape future years.
We also share you comments with the hotel and the
professional staff.
Please keep in mind when completing your survey
that constructive criticism can help us to make Swing
Niagara a better event. Negative criticism doesn't help
anyone much.
As most events do, we have to make decisions about what to
offer to make that event the best it can be. At Swing
Niagara, we try to bring you workshops from the best
national instructors at no extra charge, opportunities to
take private lessons with them, competitions for those that
want to compete and improve their dancing, exhibitions from
the top dancers in the world, and opportunities to social
dance and practice what you've learned.
